Qur'an Companion
The Qur’an Companion is a Qur’an reader inside Labbaik. It has IndoPak and Uthmani script, translations, and recitation from three reciters, ayah by ayah. Teachers use it to check and play passages. Families use it to listen and practise the homework their teacher sets.
It’s on for every organisation. Families only see it for children studying Qur’an or Hifz.
In the teacher portal
Section titled “In the teacher portal”Open Qur’an from the sidebar, or More → Qur’an on a phone.
- Read: pick a surah and the ayahs (From and To), with the ayah audio. Use Previous and Next, or Change to pick another passage.
- Practise: play a passage on repeat, the way a student would at home.
- Settings: choose the Script, Translation and Reciter.
Nothing you do in the reader is saved, so you can browse freely.

- In Hifz progress, Listen under Mistakes & notes, and Open Juz N in the Qur’an reader under the para grid.
- In Homework, add a Qur’an passage to Qur’an homework.
Set a passage to practise
Section titled “Set a passage to practise”-
Set Qur’an homework, and choose Add a Qur’an passage.

Pick the passage: a whole surah, a range of ayahs, or a juz.

If you like, set Listen N times (from 2 up to 50), so the student hears it enough times to learn it.

Send the homework.
Families open it with Listen and practise. When you mark the homework, you’ll see Practised in the Qur’an reader · N times.
In the parent and student portal
Section titled “In the parent and student portal”Families find Qur’an in the portal menu when their child studies Qur’an or Hifz. They can:
- Read and listen to any passage.
- Practise a homework passage: repeat each ayah up to 10 times, then the whole passage up to 5 times, or the number the teacher set. They can hide the text to test themselves.
- Mark homework as Practised when they’re done, so the teacher can see it.
