When a student leaves

Marking a student as left takes them off registers and stops future fees. Their history stays, so you can still see past attendance, progress and payments.

Mark a student as left

1. Open the student’s profile.

2. Choose Mark as left.

3. If you like, pick a Reason for leaving and add an Internal note. Families don’t see either.

4. Confirm.

If they pay monthly by card or Direct Debit

When the student has an active monthly payment through Stripe, Labbaik cancels it and asks whether to refund their most recent payment:

Caution

Refunds go back to the card or bank account the family paid from, and Stripe can’t reverse them. Check the amount before you confirm.

Staying, but paying another way

If a student is staying but the family wants to pay by cash or bank transfer instead, don’t mark them as left. Open the student’s Billing tab and choose Disconnect Stripe. Their card payments stop, and they stay active.

Who can mark students as left

Admins and head teachers mark students as left from the student’s passport, as above.
