Open Homework (or Set homework on Home) and choose Set homework.
-
Give it a Title, and add whatever helps: written instructions, a voice note, a photo or a file.
-
For Qur’an homework, choose Add a Qur’an passage: a whole surah, a range of ayahs, or a juz. Add Listen N times to ask them to listen to it a set number of times in the Qur’an Companion. For Hifz homework, fill in the Sabaq, Sabaq Para and Dhor tasks instead.
-
Pick when it’s Due: Tomorrow, In 3 days, Next week, Next class, No date, or Pick a date.
-
Choose Send to N students.
Families get an app notification and see the homework in the parent portal.
Hifz homework can also be sent straight from the Hifz form while you’re hearing students. Switch on Send homework with Done, and each student’s next sabaq, sabaq para and dhor go out as homework when you finish them, filled in from what you just heard. See Hifz progress.
See what happened at home
Section titled “See what happened at home”Each homework shows what families have done:
- Seen by: who has opened it.
- Completed at home: the family answered Completed? Yes, with the Time spent.
- Practised at home: they ticked a Qur’an or Hifz task as practised.
- Practised in the Qur’an reader · N times: how many times they listened in the Qur’an Companion.
Mark it
Section titled “Mark it”Qur’an and Hifz homework can be marked task by task. At the next class, open the homework and mark each student’s tasks:
- Completed
- Needs work (families see this as “Needs improvement”)
- Repeat
All completed marks every task done in one tap. Parents see the result in the portal. Other homework isn’t marked, but you can still see what families said they did.
